Root Farmacy expands its delivery range

A food-as-medicine service now ships its meals throughout the Midwest.

Dr. Erica Armstrong, board-certified family and functional medicine physician, founder and owner of Root Functional Medicine, said Friday, May 27 that Root Farmacy is expanding delivery of its fresh, 100% gluten and dairy products. free meal service to reach much of the Midwest, including Chicago; Detroit; Indianapolis; Columbus and Cleveland, Ohio; and parts of Wisconsin.

Root’s team of doctors and dietitians designs Root Farmacy meals specifically to treat those with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), thyroid, gut health, and food sensitivity issues.

Meals are created to help improve energy, mood and digestion; reduce food cravings; losing weight associated with inflammation; and balance hormones.

Meal plans available are six meals for $94 per week and 10 meals for $147.

“We estimate that shopping, preparing and cooking six different meals would cost $350 and take 10 to 12 hours of your time,” Root said. “We’re confident that signing up for Root Farmacy will save you time and money while improving the way you feel every day when eating Farmacy meals.”
